About Us

We are delighted to welcome you to The Lodge at Blackhill Farm, a charming self catering lodge situated in a peaceful location on our working family farm above the Clyde Valley in South Lanarkshire. Our three-bedroom lodge is perfect for those looking for a relaxing getaway in the beautiful Scottish countryside.

Despite our rural setting, we are conveniently located just 25 minutes from Glasgow and less than an hour from Edinburgh and Stirling.

Our Lodge

Our lodge is full of rustic charm, with comfortable and modern furnishings, and stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The lodge is fully equipped for a self catering stay for up to six guests, including a kitchen, dining area and lounge. There is also an enclosed garden with a private hot tub and an outdoor seating area for guests to enjoy the fresh air and beautiful views.

Self Catering Accommodation

Our lodge is fully equipped for a self catering stay, including a kitchen (with a microwave, oven, grill and induction hob) dining area and lounge.

Free Wifi 

We provide free Wifi for all our guests. The lounge area has a smart TV.

Hot Tub

Guests can relax in our luxury hot tub, situated within the enclosed garden area.

Things to Do

Clyde Valley Trail 

The Clyde Valley Trail is a scenic walking trail that runs through the valley below our farm.

Fishing 

There are many opportunities for fishing in the Clyde River and other nearby streams and lochs.

Golfing

There are several golf courses in the area, in Lesmahagow, Lanark, Carluke and Carnwath

Cultural Sites 

There are several historic sites in the area, including the New Lanark World Heritage Site and the Falls of Clyde.

Adventure Parks

The Clyde Valley Family Park and Valley View Adventure Park are within close proximity to the lodge.

Hiking 

There are many hiking trails in the area, including the Tinto Hill Walk and the Culter Fell Walk.
